Tuition for Online Programs from Widener University


Master of Business Administration

Tuition for the Widener University online MBA is $1,004* per credit for a curriculum of 33 credit hours.

Masters of Social Work

The online MSW consists of 64 credit hours at a cost of $850* per credit. Candidates may transfer up to nine credits of previous graduate level courses or up to 27 credits from a previous MSW.

Our RN-to-BSN program tuition is $482* per credit and can be completed in as few as 30 credit hours with previous work experience and nursing certification.

Hybrid Dual Master of Social Work / Master of Education, Human Sexuality Studies

The cost per credit hour varies depending on the type of course. MSW cost per credit hour is $850 and the MEd cost per credit hour is $850.

Dual Degree: Master Of Jurisprudence In Corporate And Business Law / Master of Business Administration (MJ/MBA)

Our Dual MJ/MBA program consists of 48 credit hours. 8 Jurisprudence and 8 business courses (3 credits each). The cost per credit hour varies depending on the type of course. Jurisprudence cost per credit hour is $1,578 and the business course cost per credit hour is $1,004.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid for undergraduate or graduate students is primarily in the form of federal loans.

To apply, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Widener University’s FAFSA code is 003313. 

Applications for student aid will continue to be processed after priority deadlines (February 15 for new students, March 1 for continuing students) but students applying later may be offered reduced university funding.

Employer tuition reimbursement arrangements are available to qualified students with employer documentation.

Financial Aid for Military Professionals

Widener University is committed to assisting our nation’s service men and women. We participate in educational benefit programs offered through the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs and the Yellow Ribbon Program, offering matching tuition assistance to eligible undergraduate and graduate students. Additionally, Montgomery GI Bill and Post 9-11 Bill benefit programs are available to qualified veterans for attendance at Widener.
